SOOO many things I just adore about this special wedding. It was such and HONOR to be a part of Christian and Julia’s special day. We traveled up North to the FREEZING Valperaso, Indiana for the weekend to shoot Christian and Julia’s Wedding Day. The weather called for VERY LOW temps and A LOT of snow (well for a Memphian, at least). Though it was FREEZING and there was snow on the ground from the days prior, the weather held out for us and we have a STUNNING and SAFE wedding day!! For those of you who do not know, fitness is a huge part of my life. And obviously, if you’ve scrolled through this blog, you can see that it is very important to these two as well. I met Christian at a gym I use to work at in Memphis, TN. He doesn’t quiet know it, but he changed my life in few different ways. He flipped my world upside down when I walked through the doors of that gym , both physically and mentally( which I know he has done for countless others). He completely changed my way of training, which changed my way of thinking about training. He is a silent master of his craft as I see it through his teachings while coaching my boyfriend during his meets for Powerlifting and the off-season. My sweet man can be a little eager and metal hungry that he just wants to be manly and lift heavy weights- hehe!! He and I BOTH are so grateful to have Christian bring him back to reality and do things the correct and safe way, which has proven to work tremendously since he helped acquire TWO Elite Totals in one year. If I had to choose the first word that comes to mind when I think of Christian, it would be GROWTH. Although I didn’t get much time with Christian before he moved up north to be with the love of his life, Julia- who we will get to in just a second- I’ve seen so much growth within himself AND all of the people in his life. He touches everyone he meets and leaves an unquestionable impact on everyones hearts. He is a God-Fearing man who loves and loves to be loved. His smile lights up any room he walks in and his laugh is so contagious. NOW- insert Julia. The first day I met Julia I was working the front desk of the Gym I was working at the time and in-comes the Massage Therapist (Christian’s close friend) and a short, jacked woman. I was thrown a phone and told to follow them and record (mind you, this all happened within like 20 seconds so I just did what I was told- HA HA) I followed the two around the corner to see Christian training, stop and turn in complete and utter SHOCK! I will never forget the look on his face when he saw Julia standing there after surprising him by flying all the way from Indiana to see him!! At that moment, I knew this would be the woman Christian would spend the rest of his life with. We got to know Julia a little better after lots of laughs and conversation over dinner and drinks with a bunch of our closest friends. It would take a fool to not see that these two were made for each other. They put God at the center of their relationship and work endlessly to continuously love the other, just like God would. I get chills everyday seeing their posts- ALWAYS motivating each other, ALWAYS pushing each other to be the best version they can be, ALWAYS supporting each other! I love you both VERY VERY much and want to wish you both a lifetime of happiness!
